Wesley Altman joined GIP in 2017 and is a Managing Director in GIP’s Credit team. He is based in New York.

Mr. Altman was previously an Associate in the Houston energy group at HPS Investment Partners, focused on senior secured and mezzanine credit investments in the energy, power, and renewables sectors. Prior to joining HPS Investment Partners, Mr. Altman was an Associate in Citigroup’s Commodities Structured Products & Origination team, where he worked on the origination and execution of derivatives-linked alternative financing structures. Mr. Altman started his career as an Analyst in Citigroup’s Energy Banking group.

Mr. Altman holds a BSBA magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis.
