Virasb Vahidi

Virasb Vahidi is a Partner, having joined GIP in 2019.

Virasb has over 28 years of commercial, financial, and operational experiences in diverse industries including transportation, telecommunications, technology, and media. Virasb was the CEO of Otter Media, leading its growth and expansion. Virasb is the former Chief Commercial Officer of American Airlines where, under his leadership, the airline expanded its global network, broadened its partnerships, led the modernization of its brand and fleet, and renewed the customer experience. Virasb also served as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Phorm, and held senior executive roles in finance, strategy, planning and investor relations at AT&T.

Virasb holds an MBA in International Business from École des Ponts Business School in Paris and a BS in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Sciences from University of California, San Diego.
