Vinay Prabhakar

Vinay Prabhakar is a Managing Director based out of the New York office who joined GIP in 2017. He is responsible both for global tax planning for GIP’s funds and associated entities and transaction tax structuring.

Prior to GIP, Mr. Prabhakar was a tax associate in the New York office of Davis Polk & Wardwell where he worked on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings, capital market transactions, derivatives, and structured products.

Mr. Prabhakar holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2010 and a B.A. with highest distinction from the Hutton Honors College at Indiana University.
