Marco Pugliese

Marco is a Digital Partner in the GIP London team. Prior to joining GIP, Marco was Managing Director in the investment team at Omers Infrastructure for three years. Previously, Marco was Managing Director in the TMT group for four years and Managing Director in the M&A Group for nine years, both at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

While at OMERS Infrastructure, Marco invested approximately $4 billion of capital across three platforms rolling out fiber-to-the-home networks to over 10 million homes, including XpFibre and Covage in France alongside Altice and Deutsche Glasfaser alongside EQT in Germany.

Shortly after joining GIP in October 2021, Marco helped close KKR and GIP’s acquisition of CyrusOne in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $15 billion.

Marco holds a degree in Economics and Finance from University of Rome and an MBA from Oxford University.
