Jonathan Bram

Jonathan Bram is a founding partner of Global Infrastructure Partners, a leading independent infrastructure fund manager, which manages more than $200 billion for its investors. In addition to leading the firm’s efforts in core infrastructure investing, Jonathan focuses on the power sector, and has significant experience with renewable power and electric utilities. GIP is a leading investor in renewables globally and has a current portfolio of 30GW in operation and 153GW in development. He also serves on GIP’s Equity and Credit Investment committees.

Prior to the formation of GIP in 2006, he spent 15 years at Credit Suisse as a managing director in the Investment Banking Division, where he served in a number of senior positions, including co-head of the Global Industrial and Services Group, chief operating officer of the Investment Banking Division, and co-head of corporate finance for the 150-person U.S. Energy Group.

Jonathan is the chairman of the board of directors of Clearway Energy Inc. (“CWEN”) and a member of the boards of Allete, owner of Minnesota Power, Eolian, Chilean Renovables and GIP’s renewable joint venture with AES Andes. He previously served on the boards of Terra-Gen Power, Guacolda Energy, and Channelview Cogeneration. He is co-chair of the board of trustees of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, and graduated with a B.A. in economics from Columbia College, where he currently serves on the board of visitors.
