Giovanni Patuzzo

Giovanni Patuzzo is a Managing Director, having joined GIP in 2018. Mr. Patuzzo focuses on equity investments in Latin America for GIP and GIP Emerging Markets. He is based in New York.

Prior to GIP, Giovanni was an Associate Director at Hastings Funds Management where he led the origination and execution effort for the credit business focusing in energy and transport. Previously, Giovanni spent 6 years with HSBC in the Infrastructure Group primarily focused on Latin America, completing acquisitions and structured financing transactions across the region. He began his finance career at HSBC in Peru where he worked in the energy and mining sectors.

Giovanni holds a BBA Management from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, Peru.
