Global Infrastructure Partners and Grupo Romero announce joint venture in Tramarsa

GIP Emerging Markets I closed the acquisition of 50% of Tramarsa, a Peruvian integrated ports infrastructure platform. The transaction represents the beginning of a new joint venture that will be co-controlled by GIP and Grupo Romero. Tramarsa is GIP EM’s sixth investment, the fund’s first transportation investment and its first industrial joint venture.
