Lorenzo Ceretti

Lorenzo Ceretti is a GIP Credit Managing Director having joined GIP in 2021. He focuses on UK and European infrastructure private credit opportunities and is based in London.

Prior to joining GIP, Mr. Ceretti was Chief Financial Officer of ION Markets, a private fintech company with a market leading position in the provision of trading software and connectivity solutions to capital market operators. Prior to that, Mr. Ceretti was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse in the Debt Capital Markets Solutions team of the Investment Banking and Capital Market division. In this role, Mr. Ceretti was Head of Southern European coverage for Leveraged Finance products as well as coverage for Hedge Fund clients across Europe, with a focus on credit structuring and origination.

Mr. Ceretti holds an M.B.A. from NYU Stern, and a degree in Economics from the University of Turin.
