Christy Silvester

Christy Silvester joined GIP in early 2015 and is a GIP Credit Partner based in New York. She has been a member of the GIP Credit team since its inception and is responsible for managing the GIP Credit portfolio.

Prior to joining GIP, Ms. Silvester was an Executive Director in the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance group at Morgan Stanley in New York.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Ms. Silvester was at Credit Suisse in New York, in a number of capacities including Leveraged Finance, Structured Products and the Global Energy Group. Prior to that, Ms. Silvester was a part of DLJ’s Energy and Power Group in New York. Ms. Silvester’s career prior to GIP spanned 17 years of combined energy sector and Leveraged Finance debt product experience, with extensive asset class, loan structuring, credit evaluation, documentation and execution expertise in the energy, power, renewables, infrastructure and healthcare sectors.

Ms. Silvester holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.
